SteriTec^® and SteriTec^® L are culture media for standardised cryopreservation of human sperm.

SteriTec^® is a ready-to-use solution in the frozen state which, due to its thermolabile components (particularly human albumin), must be stored at temperatures of < - 20° Celsius (< - 4° Fahrenheit) and thawed prior to use.

In SteriTec^® L, the thermolabile components exist in the lyophilised state. They are dissolved prior to use in the enclosed sterilised solvent, which contains the thermally stable components. The solvent and the lyophilisate may be stored in the refrigerator at temperatures of < 8° Celsius (< 46.4 ° Fahrenheit).
